Easy Turkey Bacon Ranch Sliders Recipe

  • Author: Victoria

Ingredients

  • Hawaiian Sweet Rolls: 1 package (12 count) – King’s Hawaiian or a similar brand works perfectly. Do not separate the rolls initially.
  • Deli Turkey Breast: 1 lb, thinly sliced – Choose your favorite variety (smoked, oven-roasted, honey). Quality deli turkey makes a difference.
  • Cooked Bacon: 8-10 slices, cooked until crispy and crumbled or roughly chopped. (About ½ lb uncooked bacon).
  • Sliced Cheese: 6-8 slices – Provolone, Swiss, or Monterey Jack work beautifully. Colby Jack or Mild Cheddar are also great options.
  • Ranch Dressing: ½ cup – Use a good quality bottled ranch dressing, or your favorite homemade version.
  • Unsalted Butter: ½ cup (1 stick), melted.
  • Dry Ranch Seasoning Mix: 1 tablespoon (from a packet or homemade).
  • Optional Toppings/Seasonings for Butter Mixture:

    • Poppy Seeds: 1 teaspoon (classic slider topping)
    • Worcestershire Sauce: 1 teaspoon (adds depth and umami)
    • Garlic Powder: ½ teaspoon
    • Onion Powder: ½ teaspoon
    • Dried Parsley: 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easier cleanup.
  2. Prepare the Rolls: Carefully slice the entire slab of Hawaiian rolls horizontally using a long serrated knife, keeping all the rolls connected. You should have one large top “slab” and one large bottom “slab.” Place the bottom slab into the prepared baking dish.
  3. Layer the Goodness: Spread the ½ cup of ranch dressing evenly over the cut side of the bottom slab of rolls.
  4. Add the Turkey: Layer the thinly sliced deli turkey evenly over the ranch dressing. Don’t be shy; fold or slightly bunch the turkey slices to create some height.
  5. Cheese it Up: Place the slices of cheese evenly over the turkey layer, ensuring full coverage.
  6. Bacon Time: Sprinkle the cooked, crumbled bacon evenly over the cheese layer.
  7. Top it Off: Carefully place the top slab of rolls back onto the layered fillings.
  8. Prepare the Butter Topping: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter and the dry ranch seasoning mix. If using, stir in the optional poppy seeds, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, or dried parsley now.
  9. Brush with Flavor: Generously brush the seasoned butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls. Make sure to get into the crevices between the individual rolls.
  10. Bake to Perfection: Cover the baking dish loosely with aluminum foil. This prevents the tops from browning too quickly before the cheese melts and the sliders heat through. Bake for 15 minutes.
  11. Golden Brown Finish: Remove the aluminum foil and continue baking for another 5-10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is fully melted and bubbly. Keep a close eye on them during this stage to prevent burning.
  12. Rest and Slice: Remove the baking dish from the oven and let the sliders rest for 5 minutes. This helps them hold together better when slicing. Using a sharp knife, cut along the lines of the individual rolls to separate them into 12 sliders.
  13. Serve: Serve immediately while warm and gooey!
