- Air Fryer: Place the Pizza Toasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer (work in batches). Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 5-8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Keep a close eye on them as air fryers cook quickly.
- Broiler Method: Place the assembled Pizza Toasts under the preheated broiler. Broil for 2-5 minutes, WATCHING CONSTANTLY. The broiler is intense and can go from perfectly golden to burnt in seconds. This method is best for melting cheese quickly on pre-toasted or sturdy bread.
- Cool Slightly and Serve:
- Carefully remove the Pizza Toasts from the oven/air fryer. Let them cool for a minute or two – the cheese and sauce will be very hot!
- If desired, garnish with fresh basil, parsley, or a sprinkle of extra Parmesan cheese.
- Slice in half (diagonally for that classic sandwich feel) if desired, and serve immediately.
