Preparation
  1. Wash and Peel the carrots. Rinse under cold water, peel the skins, then trim both ends. Slice into uniform 3-4 inch sticks for a crisp snap.
  2. Season Carrots. Place sticks in a bowl, sprinkle lightly with sea salt, and toss gently. Let rest for 5 minutes.
  3. Blend Chickpeas. Drain and rinse chickpeas, reserving 2 tbsp liquid. Add to a food processor for a silky base.
  4. Add Tahini & Lemon. Spoon in tahini and fresh lemon juice, pulse until smooth.
  5. Season Hummus. Add peeled garlic, cumin, and a pinch of salt. Process until fragrant.
  6. Adjust Texture. Slowly drizzle in olive oil and 1-2 tbsp of cold water until hummus is light and silky.
  7. Serve. Spoon hummus into a bowl, drizzle with olive oil and arrange carrot sticks around.
