Ingredients

For the Pudding
  • 1 large Ripe Avocado
  • 1/4 cup Chia Seeds
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 cup Plant-Based Milk almond, oat, or your favorite
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup or Honey to taste
For Serving & Garnish
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Berries
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Nuts
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut Flakes

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Mixing bowl
  • Serving glasses

Method

Making the Pudding
  1. Blend your creamy avocado with unsweetened cocoa powder, plant-based milk, and maple syrup until silky-smooth and uniformly chocolaty, about 30 seconds on high speed.
  2. Transfer the chocolate avocado mixture to a mixing bowl, then stir in the chia seeds until evenly coated and sinking, about 1 minute of gentle folding.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) so the chia seeds swell and transform into a luscious, pudding-like texture.
  4. After chilling, remove the lid and stir vigorously to break up any clumps, ensuring a smooth, creamy consistency before serving.
  5. Spoon the pudding into serving glasses or jars, then top with fresh berries, chopped nuts, or toasted coconut flakes for vibrant color and crunch.
