For the Base Blend
- Peel two very ripe bananas, then slice into 1-inch thick rounds.
- Add banana slices, cocoa powder, and nut butter to a food processor. Pulse until smooth and fudge-like.
- Sample the mixture, blending in honey or maple syrup, one teaspoon at a time, until desired sweetness is reached.
Assembly
- Use a small cookie scoop or teaspoon to portion the blend into bite-sized balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Transfer the tray to the freezer and chill for at least 2 hours, until the bites are firm.
- Enjoy bites immediately, or pack them in an airtight container and return to the freezer for up to two weeks.
