Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown chicken legs skin-side down until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes per side.
  2. Place sliced onions and minced garlic in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Whisk together chicken broth, heavy cream, and smoked paprika until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Arrange seared chicken legs atop the onions, then pour the creamy paprika sauce over them.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  6. Stir gently halfway through cooking.
  7. Let chicken rest in warm sauce for five minutes before serving.
