How to Make Garlic Mushroom White Bean Skillet Recipe
  1. Warm 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil in a large 12-inch skillet over medium heat until shimmering, about 2 minutes.
  2. Add 8 ounces of sliced cremini mushrooms, shaking the pan gently; cook 5–7 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Stir in 4 cloves of finely minced garlic and 1 teaspoon of fresh thyme; cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Gently fold in one 15-ounce can of drained and rinsed white beans, stirring to coat; cook 2–3 minutes until warmed through.
  5. Sprinkle ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes; taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Remove skillet from heat, squeeze half a fresh lemon over the mixture, and stir to combine.
