For the Stir-Fry
  • 1 pound Ground turkey Use lean turkey for a protein-packed, low-fat base.
  • 2 cups Bell peppers Choose a mix of colors.
  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • 1 cup Carrots Thinly sliced.
  • 1 medium Onion Sliced.
For the Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce The salty backbone.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Grated.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil Just a drizzle.
Optional Garnish
  • 2 stalks Green onions Chopped.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds Toasted.

Method
 

For the Stir-Fry
  1. Heat a wok: Warm 1 tablespoon sesame oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Brown turkey: Add ground turkey, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until no pink remains, about 5 minutes.
  3. Sauté veggies: Toss in sliced peppers, broccoli, carrots, and onion. Stir frequently for 3–4 minutes.
For the Sauce
  1. Whisk sauce: In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and honey (or maple). Mix until smooth.
  2. Combine & finish: Pour sauce into the stir-fry, tossing everything together for 2 minutes.
Optional Garnish
  1. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
