Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and position a rack in the center. Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat ricotta, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the ricotta mixture using a spatula.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes.
- Allow the squares to cool in the pan for 15 minutes. Lift them out using parchment overhang.
- Transfer squares to a serving platter, dust with powdered sugar, and top with fresh berries or lemon zest.
