How to Make Juicy Beef Chunks
- Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a heavy pot over medium-high. Add beef chunks and sear until golden brown on all sides, about 4–5 minutes per batch.
- Add 6.0 cups beef broth, 1.0 tbsp soy sauce, 1.0 tbsp ginger minced, and 1.0 tsp salt to the pot with 1.3 kg beef chunks. Stir gently, scraping up browned bits.
- Bring to a boil, then lower heat to maintain a gentle simmer. Cover and cook for 90–120 minutes until beef breaks apart easily.
- Taste the broth, then add more salt or soy sauce if needed, stirring well to incorporate and balance the rich, savory flavors.
- Remove the pot from heat and keep it covered for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
