Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb chicken thighs (boneless, skinless)
- 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp ginger (grated)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- Green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix together gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger until well combined.
- Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Let it sit for 15 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the marinated chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Add Garnishes: Once cooked, sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the chicken and garnish with chopped green onions for a burst of color and added flavor.
- Serve: Serve the spicy Korean chicken hot, accompanied by rice or your choice of vegetables.
